Description:
The design of this coin is the winner of a public contest held by the Bank of Slovenia last 2017. In the center appears the image of a honeycomb in the shape of a globe, whose cells filled with honey and pollen form the outline of part of the European, African and Asian continents, place of origin of the Apis mellifera. Around this honeycomb we find the inscriptions: "SVETOVNI DAN ČEBEL" (World Bee Day) in the upper left, while the issuing country and the year of minting "" SLOVENIJA 2018 "occupy the bottom right.
