Description:
With this coin is commemorated the "50th anniversary of the student revolt of May 1968". These revolts are often related to Paris, although those happened in Belgium were the only ones who managed to make a government. On the coin, students are represented holding a pamphlet and a flag in front of an audience. On them the date appears The mint mark of Utrecht (house of the coin in charge of the minting, since the Belgian mint has stopped making coins) is reproduced in the left side next to the mark of the master of Belgian mint. The year of issue "2018" and the country code "BE" also appear on the left of the design, as well as the initials of the designer: "LL" (Luc Luycx)
