Description:
The national side of the coin, designed by Rolandas Rimkūnas, features a coat of arms with a knight dressed in armor holding a sword in his right hand. The coat of arms is held by two angels, who symbolically exalt and protect Aukštaitija, one of the most important regions of Lithuania and cradle of its state. The Latin inscription "PATRIAM TUAM MUNDUM EXISTIMA" (considers that your homeland is the entire world) is shown at the bottom of the coat of arms. The composition is surrounded by the inscriptions "LIETUVA" (Lithuania), the name of the region "AUKŠTAITIJA", the year of issue (2020) and the Lithuanian mint mark. The outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the European Union flag
